Suessical Jr. Cast List

Thank you to all who auditioned, we had the biggest turn out yet!

If you didn't make it this time, please don't be discouraged, I was so impressed with the talent in the area and I wish I could have a cast of 65:) There are lots of opportunities coming up to perform though. There are performance based classes in the spring(no audition required!) In the past we have done "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" and "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" and we all had a blast. We also have Musical Theater Camp this summer. For more info see the Auburn Parks and Rec Spring and Summer Brochure. Let me know if you have any questions.

IMPORTANT CAST INFO: Please read ALL of the following

To the cast: Our first rehearsal is THIS SATURDAY Dec.12 from 3-5pm at the Auburn Public Library in the Children's wing.(all other rehearsals will be at the Jan Dempsey)We will be doing a full read through of the show & getting materials.

At the end of the read through you will be measured for costumes. YOU MUST bring the following info with you on Saturday.

Measurements:

GUYS
--pants size (not just sm/med/lg, though it can be helpful, too) waist and inseam like if you were getting dress pants, say 32/34--ask mom if unsure)

--shirt size (not just sm/med/lg, though it can be helpful, too) neck circumference and sleeve length (like if you were getting dress shirt, say 16/34--ask mom if not sure)

--shoe size

Girls

--dress size (say, girls 10, or junior 7)

--pants size (say, junior 2, or misses 12)

--shoe size

To Parents: Please come to the parent meeting from 4:30-5pm @ the Auburn Public Library(children's wing) while your kids get their costume measurements(see above for what sizes your kids need to bring with them). The AACT Staff is completely volunteer so we rely on parents to help. Parents are required to give 3 hours of work towards the show (costumes, painting, set build, publicity, etc...) and help with the Strike(taking down the set) at the end of the show.

Also thank you so much for your patience last night. I know it can be grueling, but I wanted to give everyone a chance to show me what they could do. Sometimes it is hard to predict how auditions will go. Do not worry, this is not a foreshadow of what is to come. I try to be very careful in rehearsals to organize the schedules so your child only needs to be there when they are necessary. Please bring with you all the conflicts your child will have (if you have not done so already)so we can make the scene work schedule.
